Do you have a fixin’ for the Dixons? It seems to be only a matter of time before Daryl is reunited with his racist redneck brother Merle on The Walking Dead, especially with Merle now surfacing in season 3 alongside the Governor in the town of Woodbury.
We sat the dynamic duo down during our photo shoot and asked them what exactly is going to happen when the brothers meet up. “This one is going to be a little more pissed off,” said Reedus, pointing to the man who plays Merle. “I’m always pissed off, so that’s not fair,” responded Rooker. Okay, but how would the two actors who play the Dixon brothers fare in a real life zombie apocalypse?

Here is another deleted scene from Season 2 of The Walking Dead. Dixon fans will love this one!
Daryl Dixon completely owns Andrea in that scene, and everyone in the group knows it! Daryl really is like a redneck version of Sherlock Holmes.
One word… Observant!

I am excited for the special features being released with The Walking Dead Season 2 Blu-ray/DVD. Included in these features are deleted scenes and commentaries, plus a whole lot more. One of these deleted scenes can be watched below. This clip in particular is from a storyline which was abandoned, involving the group returning to the Vatos nursing home.
Here are some more details via Entertainment Weekly on how the first episode of season 2 was originally planned out:
[There is an] “intense sequence in which Shane’s car breaks down just a few blocks away from the CDC explosion, leaving him isolated from the group and having to fight off and outrun an army of the undead before finally being rescued by the group in the RV. But what happened after that?
…following Shane’s rescue, we see the survivors trying to seek shelter with some familiar faces from season 1— Guillermo and the Vatos. But when Rick and Co. arrive back at the nursing home where Glenn was once held hostage, well…the people they find there are not people at all, setting off a frenzied attack.”

The Walking Dead Social Game is now available to play on Facebook. I have been trying it out briefly and so far I really like it. The game is currently in it’s Beta stage, so it will likely still have some issues and bugs, but for the most part it is playable.
This game is point and click based, but it has various elements thrown in to spice things up a bit. For example, there is an element of stealth used whereby you crouch behind various objects to stay hidden from the walkers. Of course you don’t necessarily have to do this, you can alternatively just go and attack, but chances are you won’t last too long.
You begin by customizing your character and going through a brief tutorial to help familiarize yourself with the gameplay mechanics. You are then introduced to your Atlanta survivors camp where you can interact with various other characters such as Shane, Lori and Carl as well as a few others who you don’t actually see in the TV Series. This acts as your base where you will accept missions and upgrade your character and stats.
Missions can be accepted from various people, and these will help build up your XP if completed successfully. When on missions be sure to be on the look out for supplies such as weapons, food and ammo for both yourself and your fellow survivors back at camp.
For those that are wondering – Yes, you are able to play this game with your Facebook friends.
I still have a lot to try out on this game, but I recommend you go ahead and check it out on Facebook now. If you are looking for friends to play this with, then make sure you leave a comment below saying so. We could build up a team of dedicated players and help each other complete missions throughout the game. If you think this sounds like a good then make sure you get commenting!
